Meet Gillian:
I’m Gillian a Humanist Celebrant who works across Scotland. ​​​

I came to Humanism through writing, performing and delivering readings at various gatherings. These included a number of weddings for both family and friends as well as me delivering the eulogy at the funeral of my best friend. All of these ceremonies were Humanist and they felt so positive, progressive and life-affirming that it made me want to explore the philosophy further.
Humanism embodies all of the values that I hold dear – those of compassion, creativity, inclusivity, empathy, progressiveness, reason and tolerance.
​I see my role as a Humanist Celebrant as a form of creative expression and feel privileged to be entrusted with your story.
